Medical Workers Fired Doctors Disciplined Over Britney Spears Records Leak

13 medical workers and several doctors are being fired and/or disciplined for earching through Britney Spears’ medical records while she was a patient at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The newspaper said more than 13 employees, none of whom are doctors, would be fired. Twelve others, including several doctors, will be disciplined otherwise for looking at her computerized records, it reported.

It is not known if any of the details discovered in the snooping were sold or otherwise leaked to media outlets, though there is speculation. If that is true, the hospital could pursue legal action against the offenders.
