Britney Spears Is Being Investigated for Child Abuse and Neglect

According to court documents released yesterday, Child welfare investigators in California are looking into “multiple child abuse and neglect” allegations directed at Britney Spears. These allegations are in direct relation to her current custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. This infdormation and much more were released in a dump of 300 pages of court documents (such as previous court rulings, expense reports and income statements) released by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon.

The agency requested the court “not alter the current custody and visitation arrangements until [the] investigation is completed.”
