UPDATE, 1:50 a.m. ET: The fire department has arrived on the scene. LAPD Officer Jason Lee tells Us, “The officers are still there. They are trying to resolve this peacefully and legally, according to the court order. They’ve been there since 8 p.m. and it is in regards to Britney Spears’ custody battle.”

UPDATE, 2:05: Paramedics took a gurney and a backboard into Spears’ home.

UPDATE, 2:25: An ambulance has pulled into Spears’ driveway, parking behind her car.

UPDATE, 2:50: An ambulance carrying Spears and other emergency vehicles have left the scene; it is being reported that Sean Preston and Jayden James are in Federline’s custody.

UPDATE, 3:40: Spears has arrived via ambulance at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Police had erected screens to shield her from waiting photographers. Federline and Sam Lutfi arrived separately. Spears’ sons were carried into the emergency room by hospital workers.

UPDATE, 4:10: Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, has arrived at Cedars Sinai.
