Pete Wentz suing over insult to Ashlee Simpson

Pete Wentz, notorious bassist for rock band Fallout Boy, has sent a cease and desist request to rock band ‘Neurosonic’ over a song they wrote lambasting Ashlee Simpson. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been dating since 2006. The song, “So Many People,” makes fun of Ashlee’s disastrous Saturday Night Live appearance last year, when her lip-syncing was exposed to millions across the United States.
I guess suing someone is the year 2000’s version of challenging to a fight by the bike racks after school.
