Katie Cassidy, star of “Supernatural” arrested for underage drinking, gives false name to police

CW drama “Supernatural” star Katie Cassidy was arrested for underage drinking in Tucson, AZ, reports the SmokingGun. She was pulled over for a routine traffic check at 2:25AM, and when the officer noticed her slurred speech and drunken behavior, she told the cop that she was Taylor Quinn Cole, a guest star on “Supernatural.” However, when asked her age, she told the arresting officer 21, and then provided Cole’s actual birth date, April 29, 1984, which would make her 23. Cassidy reportedly told police that she lied because “she is a Hollywood actress and that this would not look good for her.” The officer proceeded to call Cassidy’s mother, who asked “what could be done”, since Cassidy is a famous actress. An officer told her that Cassidy would have to appear in court, to which the mother replied that her daughter “simply didn’t have the time for that.”

Cassidy, a West Hollywood resident, told cops she lived in Vancouver and was not carrying any identification. She claimed her name was Taylor Quinn Cole and that she was 21. Asked her date of birth, Cassidy replied, “4-29-84.” The officer questioned her math, telling the starlet that that would make her 23. Cassidy confessed, “Okay, Okay, I lied to you–that wasn’t my real name.”
